The Cambridge Science Festival 2008
The Cambridge Science offers a wide range of science and technology-related activities – lectures, debates, exhibitions, concerts, plays, workshops, etc. – over nine days at a variety of locations.
The Festival's collaborators – MIT, Harvard University, the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Schools, Cambridge Public Library, WGBH, and the Museum of Science – reach out to K-12 students, the general public, and the science community, to excite and ignite curiosity.
Tea and Tolstoy: Russian Short Stories with a Side of Tea
Explore the Golden Age of Russian literature with this enjoyable and accessible short story course. Relax your mind with a "чаепитие" (Russian tea drinking ritual). Broaden it with short stories by Pushkin, Gogol, Turgenev, Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Pasternak, Chekhov, and Nabokov. No need to run to the bookstore - all reading materials are provided.
Class is for 8 Sessions, Wednesday evenings starting on May 7, 5:45-7:15pm.

Our publishing company specializes mostly in Russian language books, but also have few titles in English written by Russian speaking authors. Also we produce a periodical magazine "Krugozor" and monthly business guide "Business Reklama".
Our publication staff was brought together not only by commercial interest, but professionalism in publishing craft, love of literature and desire to provide writers, who lack other opportunities, with a chance to connect with readers. Our goal is to give voice to those, living outside of Russia and former Soviet Republics, but still writing in Russian. With total absence of interest by traditional American publishers in printing foreign language literature, and very few opportunities for immigrated writer to publish in the native country, we provide essential “life-line” to those who not yet achieved wide-spread recognition, but write critically acclaimed literature. Books that we consider for publication are reviewed by literary critics, whose opinion is well respected on both sides of Atlantic, and who contribute their editorial s regularly to various publications.
