Dasari’s health condition turned critical at KIMS hospital, where he was put on haemo-dialysis. The doctors had performed a surgery to him three days ago. Dasari had undergone gastric balloon surgery three days ago.
Well-known Telugu film director and former Union Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao died here on Tuesday after prolonged illness. He was 75.

Veteran Tollywood director-producer Dasari Narayana Rao passed away in Hyderabad today. He was 75 years old.
Rao, who holds the Guinness Book of Records for directing 125 films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, died at a private hospital due to health complications. The National Award-winning director had produced 50 other films.
Some of his famous films include “Premabhishekam”, “Megha Sandesham”, “Osey Ramulamma” and “Tata Manavadu”.
Post this surgery, several internal organs were found to be infected. From Tuesday morning, heavy fluctuations were noticed in his blood pressure and sugar levels. It may recalled that the ace director had fallen sick a month ago after he complained of difficulty in breathing. He was later discharged from the hospital after treatment. Since then, his health continued to deteriorate.
